Woah i haven't posted anything in ages. You all must be wondering if i've frozen to death or something...
Well i'm not dead yet, though i AM kinda frozen.
-3 degrees here.. =) Well, at least i'm starting to get used to the weather here. Hmm k let me talk about my previous week.
The previous week was hectic, had to follow my family around for many school visits, to go buy our winter clothing and stuffs.
Just last saturday i went to Ping He International school for my entrance test. Was tested on their sec-4 topics, think i fared quite well. For the english and sciences at least.. =) I left the entire Math's paper blank. In case you all didn't know, this school is quite well-known (i guess not, if you haven't heard of it.) and of quite a high standard. I'm not bragging, in case you're mistaken. High standard means more studying.

Haiz i passed the test, surprisingly. Thank God. Since i'm admitted into the 2nd half of their sec-4 level, i'll have lots of catching up to do... and on top of that their syllabus is totally different from us. =s
As for the school campus, its quite run-down, a little like Cckss actually.. =) Well, they have a swimming pool and com lab at least, so its not too bad. I'm just happy i got into a better school than the previous one..
AND my two sisters are in the same school as me. Whoo.
Ok enough about schools and tests, makes me feel depressed. Hmm apart from school visits, my dad brought my family to various local eateries and restaurants. Must say the food here is not bad, though i kena stomachache alot of times. What'd they do? Pick their noses before serving the food? Hygiene sucks. Oh well, Welcome to China! It isn't that bad.
On Sunday we went to an international church in some hotel, had to check passports before entering the room. Seems like religion is pretty restricted around here..
After church went to some Dim Sum restaurant and then to a HUGE pet store where my sister went crazy.. Over the dogs, at least. The store also sold iguanas, tarantulas, scorpions, alligators and other exotic pets.. Cool huh?
Keep a pet scorpion and whenever you pet it, you get sent to hospital. ;)
Hmm anyways, until my dad finds a house, my family is staying with a family friend Uncle K.C. He's quite a nice guy, very caring and all that. =) Great cook.
So my family's in good hands.
Woah till here i realise i'm kinda writing an essay. =P But seriously, nothing much has been happening around here. Shanghai is so BIG that most of my time is spent in the car, on the road. Or sleeping. =) Cold weather makes me real sleepy.
Well how's everyone back in Singapore? Hope you all are doing fine. Heard that the O'level results are being released today.. Hope you all got the marks you wanted. Always remember that there is always another chance. =) Don't give up, no matter how daunting the task may be k?

Chinese New Year's coming!!!
Sadly, i can't collect ang pows this year. Left all of them in M'sia... Can i collect 3 1/2 year's worth of Angpows in 2011?
For Chinese new year, my dad's bringing the family to some island near China named ChongMingDao or something like that. I hope i haven't typed in anything offensive in chinese.. =P
