Well, today was my first and last day at school.
A little ironic huh... All my classmates are getting ready for the new school term while i can still slack away.
Well, when i reach Shanghai that's all going to change. I'm going to have to really STUDY and REVISE like mad... something i don't usually do much. Sian.. not looking forward to it but its necessary if i want to excel there. I wouldn't want to waste such an opportunity, as Dihao puts it... =)
Good friends can really help put things in perspective.
I might not like it there or want to go, but "begin with the end in mind" says Mdm Prema... :P Though i wasn't paying attention during the motivational talk, that part makes sense... So I'm going to think of my Diploma whenever i get sick of studying...
"diploma.... diploma..."
I know i'll miss my friends and all that, but unfortunately this life is all about change and separation... Makes you wish there's more to life than this huh?
At least i know that i have people back in Singapore that i can depend on and trust in...
Well, about my day...
Like i said, i went to school today. Actually i woke up late and contemplated whether i should go, but decided to in the end. Would make a nice surprise right? =)
It was a pretty boring and dull day in school, with Ms Sim giving her record-holding super long speech and Mdm Asmahan choosing the class commitee. DEDRICK FOR MONITOR! There was also a motivational talk by the language dept... Seems like all the teachers are psycho-ing us to study hard. People are already starting to feel the pressure....
And i have one more month's worth of holidays! Makes me feel a little bad.
Oh well, it'll be my turn to suffer soon. D:
Well after school was Cca. It was really fun with a touch of sadness as i had to announce to everyone that i'm leaving. Sad... i'll really miss all the brothers in my platoon and those seniors who taught me to realise my potential. All those stupid crappy times we spent together. Hope the parade goes well. Though i'm not participating... =(
And i'll miss pumping my juniors. Don't think i can pump my classmates in Shanghai... can i?
After Cca Ma'am generously offered to treat all the Part D's to Mac. WOW. Special occasion huh... My farewell and Nazhiffi's B'day. =) So we ordered like over $100 worth of food. =) The lady at the counter thought we were nuts...
Well thats my day for you.. Pretty good, if you ask me... =) Just wished that it could have lasted longer. Oh well.
Anyways, my house is so dusty and cluttered with boxes now that whenever i step through the door i start sneezing like mad. Sian. And my room is so bare and empty now... looks so lifeless.
Hope i move into a house in Shanghai soon.
2mr going to Chasper's gym and maybe watching a movie with the ANE camp people... then its off to church for the last time.
Monday might be going to play badminton...
I won't be going back to CCKss anymore... Farewell guys, it was nice knowing you all. Stay in touch.
For me, i have no regrets coming to this school. If i hadn't, i wouldn't have met some people that mattered so much to me.
Dang i'll miss that green, old but cozy school...
